    I have not

one single clue....sorry.  I was diagnosed already by the time I got my first PET....and my thought at the time, was the PET scan was more for getting ready for rads than anything else.  I'm wondering if you've thought about packing up all the scan disks and path reports and sending them to someplace like MD Anderson, or John Hopkins for review?

    Don't know the values but

my first PET 3 mo post tx showed my lungs ALL lit up. Everyone agreed (to 99% since doctors will never give you a 100%) it was inflamation. A scan follow up 2 mo after that showed no uptake.

    Her were Robs before treatment

Head and Neck: There is a left hypermetabolic tonsillar mass (SUV max
9.1). Smaller right tonsillar mild FDG avid mass is also seen (SUV max
4.9). There are multiple bilateral neck FDG avid lymph nodes, namely in
the left retropharyngeal region (SUV max 9.8), left level 2 and 3 (SUV
max 11.3 and 3, respectively), and right level 2 (SUV max 3.8).

When I sent mine to MD Anderson....

I went to their web site and got the phone number and called to ask what all did I need to send.  They assigned a nurse to me, who sent me an email within a day with a list of what they wanted and where to send it.

    SUV uptake

will be higher in the areas with cancer. Not sure how it all works but these are the numbers doctors look at.

Not sure what a normal number would be and I don't read, as I call it Chinese. I am able to look at all tests Rob has had done on his hospital portal.

They put every test he has on there, we can look and print anytime we want.
