Dr. Lenz & life
We are going to SoCal in late September, and staying for the first week of October. We will be taking the dogs and staying with a friend. We hope to see many old friends and Dr. Lenz at USC!
I have an appointemnt with Dr. Lenz on the 3rd of October. I am anxious and excited to see what future treatments are to be considered or maybe none at all. We will also try and see a Doctor that I have seen before that does TCM, and listen to his opinion. I am not sold on Chemo, and healthy eating has done me well.
We are picking up a Honda Odysey to drive home also. Then we will have a Van for our dirty activites, Kayaking, camping, hiking, etc... and a Clean van to go to concerts or events in.
We have a lot of concerts up here. Being 90 miles from Phoenix, a lot of people do a test run concert in our little town. The concerts cost from $8 to $35 and are top name preformers. They do not bring the large light shows, just a preformance and a couple of lights. The concert hall only fits 900 people and one can get good seats.
We had our first neighborhood BBQ at our place. We used to do this a lot before I got sick. We have not had a big get together since we moved to the AZ. It went really well! We are experienceing the beginning of the Elk Rut. The male elks bugle and grunt loudly. The females reply by bugling back. The elk do not care what time it is day and night they bugle back and forth.
I have healed well. We are walking a lot agian, nearly 4 miles every day in the mountains. We saw fresh elk tracks this morning.
Thanks Aagain to everyone for your support!
Best Always, mike

Hey Mike,
All that sounds wonderful. I'm certain that you guys will fill your Cali adventure with fun. At the same time I wish the the best of luck with the medical part of it. I was in Phonix a couple years ago and I enjoyed the Tamales Festival downtown. I love Arizona general. If I think about it all three of my favorite places on the continental US are in Arizona. Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Sedona's red rocks.
You guys have fun and can't wait to hear about it.

We have appointments for Dr.
We have appointments for Dr. Lenz @ USC, A TCM Doctor in the NW part of Los Angeles. I have used him before I had cancer. He helped me a lot. I will also use his accupuncture services. We will be in SoCal at least two weeks. Laurie just got asked by B of A to train other Analysts on how to program their Database.
The dogs and I will come home before Laurie is done training. This also gves me a reason to go back to SoCal in two months. Laurie will be training others for two months.
Best Always. mike

We will make a Coffee or lunch date. We will be out in SoCal from the 28th Sept untill the 12th of October. Laurie will be back n forth through November. I will stay at home with the dogs and be painting our place. (I do live an exciting life!) We have painted all of the bedrooms, and now have the Living/Dining and Jitchen great room left to paint. It will be easier with one person and two dogs to section off and paint. (I can live with the tarps down. lol)
I sincerely look forward to meeting and speaking with you also!
Best Always, mike
