looking for other antiplastic thyroid cancer survivors
In my view if the doctors would not be so bleak , and always not very hopefull a lot more people would do better. I am on my 8 month when they gave me 3 maybe 6 feeling good, they really did not want to treat me, i told them to throw the kitchen sink at me. Told them i was going to prevail the first day and ifeel the same way now . Been thur the mill , and going to walk awayfrom cancer . BELIEVE they say i live in denial , they gave me a book on side affects of treatment threw in trash and went to work . Do not put things in your head ,the facts are you are teaching them , We can win this.

I don't have atc but rather a bleak case of aggressive papillary with mets. Feeling down of late but came across your posts. I admire you're positivity! I'm going to work on mine now! Thanks much.

Amazing
So happy for your 5 year mark! Sorry to hear about the heart issues - can't imagine what it's like to have a pace maker implanted. Hope it wasn't too rough and you've recovered well.
I had to have a total hip replacement in January due to bone mets from PTC eating away the ball of my femur which somehow went unnoticed. So grateful it didn't break on me. Chugging along.
Very best wishes to you in 2017.

You are so inspiring! I
You are so inspiring! I found out six months ago I have a variant of poorly differentiated thyroid carcinoma. I have not met anyone yet with my specific type. There is not much in the way of studies, and the ones that exist have varied survival rates. My doctors have conflicting next steps in treatment. I saw your post from 2012, and scrolled down to see you are still survining 5 years later. Your attitude and perserverence, really reinforces the idea of hope and positivity! Thanks. Know I am thinking of you, and hope you meet others with ATC 5+ years out. I am rooting for you!!!
