Back pain
I have no idea if it is related or not but I have this constant low back pain. It gets to the point that I have to take otc pain killers to sleep or function.
I talked to the nephrologist about it and she said it was absolutely not related but for some reason my intuition tells me it's all connected to the tumor on my right kidney. The pain seems more located on the left side which is the only reason that I think maybe it is not related, but I do know that sometimes pain radiates correct?
Anyone else have back pain?

My suggestion is you do not
My suggestion is you do not take it lightly and get it investiagted thoroughly. I experienced the same and later found out that new lesions got developed in my lumbar area, for which I had to take radiations. A dull pain still subsists.

Back Pain!
I had back pain with my tumour, at the time obviously, I didn't know that is was a kidney issue that was causing it. Mine was more like a constant dull ache though. You are right in that pain can radiate, but could it be a disc problem that's causing it?

Yes - there's the well-known phenomenon of 'referred pain' when you 'feel' the pain to be in a totally uninvolved body part - can be very conusing for patien and doctor alike.
I'm with aditya_fighter - follow it up and have it identified.

I am not sure if it is disc pain or not, it feels more like it might be in the hip joint or just above. I will ask more about it when I got in for my pre op phyiscal next week! Thanks everyone!
