Sad Day To Happy Day
A bit off topic
Today is 4 years that I lost my Dad. I memtioned before he was a very healthy 80 year old who just decided to take his own life for no apparent reason. For the last 3 years September 3rd has always haunted me until today. This morning my son and his girlfreind had a baby girl, it was pretty much planned (by the hospital) that this would be the day they would take the baby. September 3rd ain't such a bad day after all. Her name is Kailyn and now my son realizes how I felt the day he was born.
Sorry I haven't been on that much lately and just popped in to brag. Been entirely to busy at work getting things done so I can visit my son & family (and John) in Florida this weekend.
I would post a photo but can't figure it out at the moment.
Enjoy the day.............I do...............Every one of them
Jeff

Awesome Jeff!
Congratulations on the new wee one. Grandkids are a hoot, and we don't have to raise them....we're there to spoil them...in the good ways, I mean .

good and bad
Jeff,
Life is full of good and bad surprises. We have by nature of being here as members of the H&N club each had a dose of bad. Whether it is Skiffin catching a fish, Phrannie calling in NED or a new baby in your family, a little good helps us all.

Now, remember these three words. SPOIL, SPOIL, SPOIL The parents will hate you when you leave. LOL
Yes, it is funny what coincidences we have. My oldest grandson's birthday is the date my father died and my son's birthday is the date my mother died which happens to be the Twin Towers tragedy date, many years apart, of course. Life is funny that way, I guess.
Luv,
Wolfen

Hi Jeff
Something’s are just hard to understand until we walk in that person’s life and see what they see and feel what they feel. I am sorry to hear about your Dad but only God and him know what was going on in his life. Life is so beautiful and when I see young people abusing their bodies it is hard because they don’t understand what they are doing to themselves. The gift of life is so precious and when I see my grandchildren coming into the world all I can do is to fall down and thank the Lord above for letting me be a part of their life. It is what gives me the strength to keep fighting no matter what the cost. My only Son’s wife gave birth 3 months ago to a beautiful little girl, and seeing how he is when he holds her bring back memories of when he what only 3 months and I would be holding him.
God is so good

Thanks John for posting the picture.
Don trust me sometimes I do want to pack it in I will have completed 4 terms at the end of next year. I think I may run for one more term and then retire. Back to work, I have a 7:00 pm meeting tonight.
