Tx this week
Back up to Mayo in the morning for my 5 days of SBRT high dose targeted radiation. Biopsy is SCC and related back to primary in jaw January 2012. Mayo on-line is amazing. You can see your biopsy reports, scan results, blood work, doctors notes as soon as they post. You are looking at them at the same time doctor gets them. I was stunned when I went to enroll on-line and for security purposes, they asked 5 questions, one was "which of these 5 addresses have you lived at" one was in KC nearly 20 years ago! Then they asked "which of the following watercraft have you owned" OMG big brother knows everything. I'm anxious and scared but will be home with tx behind me in 5 days rather than 7 weeks. My brother, sister-in-law and two sisters are flying up with me. I'm blessed with my family and thankful for all my blessings which include the thoughts and prayers from my CSN family too.

Good luck
and please post if you can. I am following your case, not stalking! My daughter has had hospitals like that with the record keeping. When she was having a problem during her pregnancy, she would look up info on her smart phone to let another doctor know the results. My sister keeps all of my paperwork and we hand carry, it has come in handy many times. Glad so many family members will be going with you. I always tried to make it to anything my mother had done medically, my older sister was there but she always appreciated the company. My sister lives close to Stanford so we stay at her house. My brother-in-law and nephews usually try to distract my husband for a while and my sister is always there with my husband during my surgeries and proceedures. I know it is sometimes difficult to get on-line, I will be looking for posts but I understand if you are not able to post for a bit.

Candi,
I have read up on SBRT and you are getting the best, you should have great results and in only 5 days!
It is wonderful to hear so many family members are stepping up to the plate to be with you, the rest of us will be a keystroke away.
Good luck, see you soon, prayers and good thoughts.
