After treatment help
This is for my father in law who has survived terminal stage 4 lung cancer. It has been a year and a half since my father in law was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 lung cancer. Though a miracle from God he has survived this painful process. Just recently he has contacted my wife and he is going thru some depression. He says he is tired, the muscle fatigue from Chemotherapy and the inability to be as mobile as he once was has really got him down. Says he is tired of the pain and always being tired, his body is just wore out. While going thru the cancer treatments, he had such a positive attitude, he was determined to beat the cancer and help other that are going thru the same thing. I believe he just doesn't know what to do or where to start helping others. My question is, how do we help? Where would be a good place to direct him to get involved with others that maybe going thru the same thing he is. I though maybe if he was able to get involved thru the internet in discussion boards or blogs that he could find his way to a healthier state of mind. He and his wife live in the mountains and are kind of isolated so the internet is the best possible way I can think of to help. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks.

This is a good place to come, but not alot of traffic. The inspire web site for lung cancer has many stage IV survivors and lots of conversation. I would suggest he go there for inspiration as thats what I receive from that site. Just google Inspire. I hope this helps. Lori
