update on my dad and question about brain mets
My dad is not doing well at all, his Esop cancer spread to his liver, lungs and now he has brain mets. He had a seizure last week. My dad has been so strong through all this and never complains even though I know how hard this is on him. He is now confused and forgetting people and words. Everything I read said that brain mets because of Esophaual cancer is rare. Does any one know if this is accurant or have heard of any one with brain mets, primary being Esop cancer? Also even though he has lost a lot of weight he is still not thin but hospice nurse thinks that he may only have about a month left. This might be a dumb question but going to ask it anyway, do people still pass from cancer and not be really thin?
My sincere hope that you all conquer this beast and prayers for you all

My father has brain mets
I just wanted you to know that while i do beleive it is uncommon, my fathers espohgal cancer cause a met in his brain. He had a golf ball sized tumor on his cerebellum, that was found on a MRI in early Feb. Surgery was done to remove the tumor, shortly afterward 2 more small tumors were found on his frontal lobe. His inital diaganosis was CUP, (unknown primary) until a scope found the source. I wish the the best and will keep you and your dad in my thoughts and prayers.
