BlownAway60 or Donna - Can you update us?
Donna,
Of all of the people that I know, you are one that truly does pay it back! You do so much for others by making your hats and afghans and donating them.
You are an angel, a living angel amongst us!
Let us all know how you are doing now and how many hats you've made.
We love you Donna,
Megan

Wow. Thank you all so much.
Wow. Thank you all so much. You almost made me cry. I am the type of person that just does not know what to do with praise. I have always just tried to do the very best that I could at what ever I was doing. It just makes so much sense to me to help those that I know truly need it and I really get so much back when I donate hats to chemo patients. Just the look on their faces, gets me every time. As long as I have the money and am able to do this, I will continue. After I make my donations in Sept I will have given away over 800 hats. The first person that I ever sent hats to was Chen. I sent 3 hats to her in 2010, well before she ever knew she had mets. I so admired her and just wanted her to know then how special she was to me. This is just me. I am just a simple person who cares. I just wish I could do more, like cure cancer. That would really really make me happy. Oh and winning the lottery would be nice too.
Now for me. I have good days and bad days just like the rest of you. Some days I wonder when the beast is going to come back and get me and then I think well silly you are still here aren't you. Enjoy what you have and get over it. I see my onc again in Sept and I am supposed to have my annual stuff done in Sept as well, PAP and Mamo. My back is still giviing me a problem but I am coping. If anyone asks how I am I always tell them that I am "olay". I have started drawing again. I will post some of my work on my Expressions Page for you. I have given most of what I have done away to family. I did draw an eagle for my husband and I still have that. I am trying to teach myself how to use water colors. Not doing to good yet but I am working on it.
Special hugs to you all

Always great to see an update from one of my favorite pink sisters! I don't know how you do all of this Donna, I really don't! I hope your back will improve. I know how awful it is to have to cope with back pain.
Good luck next month and I will be saying a prayer that you get the best results!
Hugs, Diane
