Help with Grief
Hi All, My sweet Mother died from this awful disease in early March. I'm finding this pit of emptiness to be nearly unbearable. Has anyone found an active grief support board? Any recommendations would be helpful. This is just the most awful feeling and I need to learn how to cope.
I'm so sorry to read of the assorted experiences with this cancer. I wish for a positive outcome for you all.

So sorry
Hi, I'm Heeran. Sorry for your loss. My mom is going through this nightmare that your mom went through. I know what you mean about the emptiness. My mother is here and I've been grieving for the last 2 years and having crying fits lately as I see her so sick and unable to rest. I would check with the cancer center your mom went to first to see if they have a support group. I've been looking for one myself and they have very specific ones here but not for esophageal cancer. Maybe a one on one w/ a psychologist is the next step. I'm assuming the grieving process takes a long time especially if you were close to your mom and it sounds like you were.
