    I was diagnosed with stage 2 IDC breast cancer almost 3 years ago. My doctor appointment was the same week as my birthday - it was the only way I could remember to make the appointment LOL! I still remember the awful feeling when he said we had a problem. The actual diagnosis was in September. One of the first places I turned for help was the American Cancer Society and this discussion board. After 4 surgeries and the full round of chemo, I'm doing well. I got so many tips on how to survive surgery and chemo and A LOT of support here.

    I still come here often to add a note when I feel I can help and I send positive thoughts and prayers for all of us. Thanks for remembering my birthday and the well wishes! I was on vacation - visiting beautiful Alabama and Nashville TN. I just saw the post now and it sure did make my day!
