Scans and MRI clear
The big whoopeeeeee news is I don't have to obsess any more about any correlation between the Vertigo and hearing loss and Cancer . . . and my scans were done earlier than my anniversary date of August 15th. Yeah!!!!!!!
Unfortunately the vertigo took a turn for the worse last night but seems better this morning. I guess that's just the way it is for now. Hopefully at least the vertigo and scanxiety will pass in due time.
Thanks for all your support.
Fondly,
Sandy

Good news about the scans. Congratulations. I hope the vertigo goes away. Man, isn't the anxiety the worst?
The anxiety causes me to obsess. I really don't mind dying but I don't want to be sick anynore. But I guess it is what it is. One day at a time we can get through most anything.
Thanks for all your patience and support during my month of madness.

Glad to hear. It is just amazing what anxiety can do to us and so easy to just turn it off. Keep the good reports coming! Hopefully the virtigo will also soon be a thing of the past.

Vertigo
My mom had extreme vertigo and could not get out of bed some days. Her doctor recommened, as silly as this sounds, to to sit on the edge of the bed and "throw" her head between her legs several times before trying to stand up. She said this did help. If I remember correctly the doctor said this should help get the fluid in her ears flowing better to stabilize her equilibrium.

Right now I can't imagine throwing my head in the mornings but it is getting a lot better slowly. When I heard 6-8 weeks, I guess I heard that right. My sudden deafness and vertigo occurred on June 18th and today is August 2nd. It is much worse in the morning, so maybe this old remedy is the right thing to do!
Sincerely,
Sandy
