Sorry, sorry, sorry. Haven't
Sorry, sorry, sorry. Haven't been on lately. I get really depressed when I read all the bad stuff going on here.
Bone Scan and MRI done in hospital came out clean. Yeah me! Out of hospital on a Friday, back to work Monday. Just took pain meds for a couple days, as I didn't like being high at work. Well, a little bit, maybe. Dilaudid will do that to you.
Done with rads July 24th. I had a little infection from a stitch. We worked on clearing that up during rads. I thought it was clear, and that the redness was from the rads and the 6 boosters, but after a couple weeks, my breast was still red, hot and hurting. My onco had given me Keflex for an infection I had during chemo, and gave me extra Rx's. So I started with them Sunday and it seems to be clearing up.
I see onco this Thursday. I'm thinking she will want a PET scan.
Other that that, I am doing well and my energy level and brain power are getting back to normal. That was the worse part for me as I really couldn't stand feeling too tired and unable to think clearly.
Thanks for your concern.

I hate tests. I am sure we all do. They are so scary. I am happy that you got this good news and will be praying for the same on your Pet scan.
Good luck!
