I've used castor oil packs to get rid of adhesions.  Another bonus is that they make scars disappear.

Have I mentioned how well castor oil works at making scars disappear?

    Question

I hope you don't mind, is this regular castor oil?  Do you just work it in with your fingers or is there a pad?  How "old" is your scar?  I am not ashamed of my scar but I sure would love to minimize it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Castor Oil

The castor oil is just plain castor oil that you can get at a health food store.  They sell the flannel for the packs, and it's typically right next to the castor oil.  You soak a piece of the flannel (I cut the flannel in the package in half) in the oil, then apply it to your abdomen.  You can cover it with plastic and a towel and put heat on it for an hour.  You can store the flannel in a Ziplock in the refrigerator and reuse it until it becomes discolored.  Using these every day or two for two weeks dissolved adhesions I was having trouble with and my scar went from red to flesh tone.  The packs will also pull toxins from your liver.

My scar is 4 years old, as of next week.  But it started looking like this a couple of years ago when I started using the packs.
