in Colorectal Cancer #1

I had my cytoreductive surgery for Stage IV Mucinous Adenocarcinoma of the Appendix.  I was resected in 3 places, but was fortunate in that I never had a bag.  My surgeon was extraordinarily skillful.  I had several months of Intraperitoneal chemo, followed by 7 cycles of Folfox + Avastin.

I am currently healthy, doing everything.  I've been NED since my surgery.

Wishing comparable outcomes for us all.

    I remember reading about your story when I joined the board a year ago, but you changed your picture (to the curling photo) so I never saw you again. Now, with the kayak photo, I remember. Congratulations! something worth celebrating.
