Texasgirl10 update

Hello all, I hope you are all doing well. We enjoyed a break from the heat last week. There were a couple of days with highs in the lower 70's!! That never happens in the heart of Texas in July and we had rain!! Dawne and I both really enjoyed that :o) Dawne is hanging in there. She is very tired and does not feel well a lot of the time. She alternates her chemo now, every other Wed. I tried to get in touch with her this morning but I am thinking she is probably having labs done this morning. Thank you all again for the prayers, warm thoughts and kind words. She appreciates them so very much. Dawne was able to go see some family for the 4th and got to spend time with her sister who had just finished treatment for cervical cancer. She had such a good time!

I see my Onc on Wed for my normal 6 month appt. I will go for labs later today myself.I wish Dawne and I could have meet there but we had different times to be there. I am doing well just staying busy as most of us do. Praying for all of you. God Bless

    Thank you for the update on Dawne.  I wish she was having an easier time with it all.  Glad that she was able to visit with her sister who was finishing her treatment.  

    Your heat wave came to Maine last week and it was brutal.  Glad that you had some cooler temperature and some rain.

    Sent you an email inquiring on the gel for your knees for my sister.  Wishing you a normal 6 month appointment and that all will be well.

    I will be keeping you in prayer as you head in for you 6 month Oncology check up.  I go on Monday .. for mine - LOL

    So glad Dawne got to go see her sister.  I hope she starts to feel better and to get stronger. 

    She is so loved and admired by everyone on this board and we all continue to pray for her.

    So wonderful that Dawne could see her family.  That is always so uplifting and helps our spirits!  I am still so sorry that she isn't feeling well.  I pray for her every day.

    The weather everywhere seems crazy anymore.  We had hot weather and now it is like Fall.  I know you needed rain in Texas and I am so glad you got some.

    As always, I am praying for Dawne.  I hope you know how much we appreciate your updating us on her.  Let her know how we all send our love and prayers to her.

    Prayers and hugs to Janice and Dawne

    You sent your hot weather on to us and I don't like it.  I know it is summer, but, the heat and humidity is terrible. 

    Thanks for the update on Dawne.  You are our only source to know how she is doing and it's always good to see news from you.  And, I wish you all the best also Janice.
