Is the outhouse a double seater? If you see a large pan under the bed it's called a Thunder Jug and saves you a trip out at night to the Casanova. (our family name for the outhouse)
That place will force you to relax and catch up on your reading. Enjoy the trip.

except on laundry day when they start the generator.....didn't bother me a bit. We had gas lights to see with, and there is water from a gravity spring....Didn't float but we did ride....I'll post a few pics when I get them off the cam. It was WONDERFUL....meals are served family style, and guests help clean up and do dishes....don't HAVE to do that, but it seems that's the way it works. The food was great. I tried fishing, John....but I'm no good at casting (thought hubby was going to get pissed that I kept tangling up my line, but he didn't).
Slept like a baby....deer and elk on our front doorstep every morning....didn't see any grizzlies, and was happy about that...tho the first night we went out to pick huckleberries and everybody carried a gun but me.....I carried the bucket...I wasn't about to hold on to it either if we got caught by a bear....LOL.
