I've also been wondering how you were doing.... sending you off some (((((HUGS))))) Maria
Hearty Pioneer, I hope you're doing well with your recovery. When you are up to it, please let us know how you're doing.
Val and Maria, you two are awesome. It's easy enough for me to worry about others because I'm lucky to be NED (no evidence of disease). But despite the on-going chemo side effects, you both continue to provide support and compassion and a shoulder to lean on to the people on this board.
My biggest wish for you, Hearty Pioneer, and the other women here is the opportunity to dance wth NED.

week 3
Starting week three, plastic surgeon says the sites are healing as they should. I have been drain free for 5 days and very thankful. Did just a bit of driving today, and made me a bit sore. Will keep to trips to about 5 minutes, for now. Still resting and napping. Healing is much like a debulking surgery, taking it nice and easy. Thankful for my family, they have stepped up to do my chores.

I'm impressed that you've been able to do some driving already. Sounds like you're doing really well with your recovery, which is good. You took the words right out of my mouth - taking it nice and easy is the way to go. Your family sounds great and glad they're stepping up. Recovering from surgery is always a darned good excuse to use to let the family cater to you!

You are so strong, and such an inspiration. Praying for your speedy and complete recovery. I know someone who has been through the same situation, and she is doing wonderful, as I know you will too!
Grateful for family stepping in to help - what a blessing!
