I'm having some issues figuring out how to use this message board.


Thank you all for your warm welcome to this group--though the initiaion felt something like hazing.  :(

    An, by now you probably have noticed that the site is having issues. It is taking so long to post or even sign on. It looks to be a bit better now though...  Stay with us!

    I'm sorry it has taken so long to get through to you!  This is my sixth attempt to respond to one of your posts! LOL I also tried a private message, but apparently my character was in question with the security folks here! LOL

    Sorry about the incredibly awful initiation, but we needed to make sure you could take it! Laughing  No wimps allowed!

    I read in your other post about your details and I understand completely. I had my radical three weeks to the day before you.  Depression cycles in and out, but the further along you go, the more out it seems to be. Positive mental attitude helps.  The people you find on this survivor group page helps as well. Ask any question, rant any rant, we are here.  Often this is the place to come when there is no **** to kick and no heart to appeal to.

    As a 23 year New Mexico resident myself, I envy you living in the Duke City. I am transplanted these days to South Carolina, but have not outgrown my love of the Land of Enchantment nor my taste for Green Chile and Sopapillas!  I bought Big Jim Chile seeds online and I am growing my own this year!  We'll see how they do in South Carolina weather.

    Albuquerque is my favorite city in the country. I miss the Sandias, the three sisters, and the petroglyphs! It makes me nostalgic to think about them.  Anytime you feel the depression starting, just ride the tram and look at the valley!  That should put it in perspective for you!

    Good luck dealing with all the Californians in Santa Fe! Sealed  Are there any Santa Fe natives left in town?

    Helloooo, Michael!

    I'm delighted to encounter a fellow New Mexican, especially one of potentially ill repute!

    I couldn't have possibly found a better, more supportive group.  I'm getting better every day, thanks to you all.

    It's still great here.  Albuquerque is its usual funky self, and Santa Fe remains the city different.  I think I know both of the remaining natives.

    I'm delighted to meet you, Michael, and I hope you're doing well after your surgery.
