WOOHOO I am done with rads!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you tell how happy I am? lol I am beyond happy to be done finally with radiation. I thought this day would never come!
Like many of you, I WON'T miss rads, but, I will miss the people there. Everyone was so nice and so sweet to me.
My hubby and 2 of my girlfriends took me out for a big lunch celebration right after. It was nice, really nice!
Now I just have to get my strength back, get my skin back to good condition and LIVE!!!!
Thanks everyone for everything!!!

Congrats Candi
I finished mine last week and my skin is starting to heal. My energy level is increasing too. Keep on applying your creams for some time. Do you have to take Tamoxifen too or some other medication?
Good Luck

Congrats! I envy you! I wish it were me, but, eventually I will finish. That's nice you got a celebratory lunch as you deserve it!
Did you have a bell to ring or get a diploma like some others talked about?

Congrats Candi Cane - when we all started the radiation process it seemed like 30+ treatments was such a long time but, I found it to actually fly by...However, this last week for me has been so discomforting - my last treatment is next week...So, I totally understand your enthusiasm...Get to healing Candi and remember to use sunscreen...

Congrats Candi! Woohoo is right! I know you've had a rough time of it. I hope that your skin will heal quickly for you and that you will regain your energy soon.
Remember to still take good care of your skin as you are still "cooking".

Congrats to you on finishing your RADS treatment. I know all too well how good it feels. I have been smiling all day, but I will miss my rad techs. Without them being the great and caring human being this process could have been very depressing.
I am going to a Casino with the girls tomorrow to celebrate my grad from rads and I am so excited. This is a fund raiser for a woman here in Vancouver WA that is going to Italy to play in the World Master Games. She is 42 years old! Wow!
I have not lost must energy but my skin is sore.
I hope that you have a speedy recovery.

Your skin healing will start right away Candi. It will start to feel better and look better. If it doesn't, contact your rads onco. Within a couple of weeks, you should see a big difference.
Congrats again,
Noel
