Well ladies, some good news to share: My daughter is getting married!!

Hi Ladies,

 

My 22 year old daughter is getting married July 19.  Yes, 11 days from now.  She and the young man intended to become officially engaged this summer, and marry in December.  However, they have decided to proceed on with the wedding when my son is visiting next week. 

 

For nearly two years the two of them have been best of friends, while both dating other people.  For various reasons, neither thought one would be interested in the other. In late spring they both realized there was much more than a friendship to their relationship.  I am so happy for them.  It does make me sad that her Dad won't be here to give her away, but she's asked her brother to have that honor. 

 

We're planning a small wedding with family and some of their closest friends.  We found her a beautiful informal white dress as well as beautiful white lace shaw at Ross for $28.  We found a slip at a thrift store for $4.  I've never seen her so happy. 

 

Feeling well right now, and very excited!!

    for you and your daughter and son-in-law to be.  Wishing the couple a lifetime of love and happiness together.  I do believe that your husband will be there in spirit to witness the joyous event.

    Wonderful news!

    Carla, one of my most comforting thoughts is that my daughter has found the perfect man to share life and support her, no matter what may come.  I loved, loved, loved seeing her so happy on her wedding day, and all the days since! 

    And I love weddings!  Don't forget to post photos!
