My computer or this site?
Am I the only one who has been fighting getting in here the last 3 days? I tend to blame my computer more often than not, but it's not having problems at any other sites....and....it may be my provider, too.....they've been known to have problems with optic-fiber lines and say nothing nor notify a soul of what's going on.

Hiya,
If you want to know if it is CSN or your Internet connection in general is just visit a few other sites you typically go to. Things like gmail can indicate if your connection is slow or now. In this case, it is like the Xmas present we got and CSN is really slowed down again. No sense in raising it as it surely did not do much last time. Those in the know, know what is going on and don't even bother to post a general notice stating there is an issue and it is being worked. Worse, I guess, is they are not aware of the slowdown, so what good would come of informing someone that is already asleep at the wheel. done. don

it is this site
back to the way it used 2 be. I hae plenty of time to go out and do other things on the interet while I wait for each page here to load.

It's the site, not sure what's going on...
I tried to reach Greta, but haven't had much luck yet...
I'll post up as soon as I hear something back.
John
I have had issues the last 3 or 4 days also. Sent in at least two "having issues with site" notices and have not heard anything back either.
I would assume they (whoever "they" are) are already aware of it.

Honestly....I'm really not the type
who follows the "misery loves company" way of being....but I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one. Once signed in, I don't seem to have as big of a problem, but signing in today was an hour long process. I finally was able to sign in on the "Public Content Search"...then another long wait on getting into the Discussion Boards.

I've seen this many times over the years. I just figured somebody spilled the molasses in their system again. LOL
Frustrating not being able to connect with your family.

Dearest Phrannie,
I don’t know if it is Greta, Skiffin, DonFoo (me once). The big moon, the IRS or NSA, but it is something. The only thing slower is waiting for a contact through the (H&N) super-secret spreadsheet which Vivian and John cobbled together. I feel like Batman waiting for the signal.
I might be able to come up with a name for this, as suggested or better yet a Country Song.
“My mouth went dry while waiting for you”
“I rang the bell and nobody knew”
“Misery loves company, but only at high speed”
“I switched browsers and my caretaker switched my trousers”
“chemo brain, old computer, senior moment and the HPV blues”
“I moan alone”
Stop me please! This is all a test to see how well we respond to the stress of not logging on to our favorite H&N site. I for one have taken this “butt time” delay to go out in the backyard and picked more berries (you gotta keep stimulating the taste buds) and I hope each of you are doing well.

we could count on you! Berries this summer, I remember you passed up that part of summer last year. Save some for me, we will be going to Mt. Hood and probably Portland at the end of July. I love berries.

I just got back from a berry picking, or should I say berry eating excursion. Last summer all that got through the “Ultimate Taste Bud Shut-Down” was sweet corn and tomatoes. Wait. That isn’t entirely true; I did devour about 50 pounds of Blue Berries in my life sustaining Smoothies, but Marion Berries went to my wife (lucky gal).
My H&N powers tell me you are feeling OK, I hope that is correct.
Back on line,
Matt

Those look delicious....
Sorry on the spreadsheet Matt (and others)...
As we originally made it for Viviian I totally forgot to send out the final version...
I will do that tomorrow as it's on my work puter...
I never heard anything back from Greta, and I know she is having some of her own personal health issues. But I did send her an email, and not sure, but today the site seems to be working good...

Took me
One hour and 20 minutes to sign in this morning....got the dogs walked, breakfast made, and a shower done while I waited.....
The strange thing is.....once signed in, the site isn't all that bad.....it's the getting in that is screwed up.
