IBC - almost 4 yrs - still NED!

Saw my PA on the 24th.

DOING GREAT!

I'm an almost 4 yr (Aug 09) IBCer who is still NED!

I do feel the need to shout, IBC is not an immediate "death sentence".

I don't kow what 'tomorrow' brings - live for TODAY!

    This is fantastic.  Shout it.  Dance in the streets.  Celebrate. 

    I know a woman who is a 12-year survivor of IBC.  This was a second breast cancer for her, not a recurrence of initial bc some 8-10 years prior.  Her IBC was ER+ so she does take Arimidex and there is no talk of stopping.  She remains NED after 12 years.
