Being a bandwagon fan has really been fun.....

This sports town helped this girl forget about cancer for awhile and
capture some awesome sports history!

    Hi Barbebarb,

    It's my first time posting here but I had to say...GO HAWKS!  What a great game!

    Been lurking quietly in the background for the last six months (mom has CC stage IV), but I had to come out and say I LOVED the hockey series this year.  So glad we had a season.  Mom LOVES hockey and it completely takes her mind off her troubles.

    Sorry you are here and hoping mom is faring well with Stage IV. I am in that category, too.
    Yes, series has been fun to watch. I like to watch golf, too. It does take us away from what we are
    dealing with.

    I'm a Chicago girl born and bred, and you're right, it is good to have something to distract from... well, everything.

    I'm happy about the 'hawks, and it really was a good game. Better luck next year, Bruins.

    There is a parade Friday in the city. I certainly gained a better appreciation for the game. My daughter and I and a friend watched the game at a sportsbar on 66" screens. They used a projector. Much easier to follow that puck! Chicago is a sports town and its ok to be a bandwagon fan! Lol Barb
