Just want to say Hi.
Its been awile since I lurked or posted on the site. I just want to say Hi to those I m familiar with and all the newer folks. I just had my 2 year scan and I'm happy to say its all clear.
I live with permanent neoropathy in my feet and a clostomy bag but I can deal with that if I'm all clear. So Hello to my old pals and friends I havnt met yet.
Sharing good news is sometimes hard because there are so many suffering here. But theres hope and thats what i'm trying relay here.
An old friend from this site shared with me "any day this side of the dirt is a good day" I agreed and passed it on.
Peace, Tom

What's Up, Tom...
I knew that you were still doing well.....congrats on two years - that is really great to hear!
I know you remember Big Billy - and since I might not talk to you again for quite a spell...I thought I would tell you that I wrote a cancer article abouit Big Billy - and we were just accepted to be published in Coping Magazine, which is a major cancer magazine with a sterling reputation.
The issue is due out anywhere between the July/Aug issue through to the Jan/Feb 2014 magazine.....don't know when yet, I approved the edited draft and will have to approve the final edit and sign more stuff etc. It wasn't a paying gig...completely free, but my writing has never been about the money....only trying to help.
So, now Big Billy will live on in some form in print....I've always had big plans for him if we ever got anywhere...and I'm grateful to the editor and her staff for accepting me at face value - and the BB story as well.
Tell the FB'ers hey for me and continued success for you!

Hi
Glad that you are doing well. I have permanent neuropathy in my feet, but just as you have said, that is all that I have to deal with. My port is being removed next week. I love waking up to each day and plan to see many more. This weekend, I am going to a senior prom. (A prom for senior citizens) Stay positive and enjoy living.
