Hi Terin - it sounds like you have been through enough.  I hope it's not cancer.

My husband's symptoms were thin stools and a bit of bleeding - that's it.  Seems like most of the symptoms of colorectal cancer can also be symptoms of other things, so try not to worry too much, but get it checked out and insist on a colonoscopy.

I had blood in my stool for a long time, but blamed it on my hemeroids as they were very large.

Several months previous to diagnosis, I would  look in the mirror (naked) and my upper  abdomen (right below the breasts) was distended. A little voice in my head told me that things were not right.  I even thought about the word 'Cancer' but would strike that down right away. On my husbands and my anniversary, I was constipated the whole time, even though I was earthing healthy and drinking to keep hydrated. 

To make a long story short, I ended up in the ER, then a colonoscopy revealed a tumour about to rupture. A BIG tumour that I didn't know was there. growing for years the GI doctor told me. 

There are allot of little tell tail symptoms, most unrecognized by the people, which is why it's the second leading cancer killer.

i suggest colonoscopy, not a bad procedure, just the goup they make us drink.

Personally, I had no obvious G-I symptoms, only the more generic symptoms of anemia, fatigue, and persistant weight loss,  Hopefully, you're getting this checked out by a doctor asap.  Good luck~AA

Thank you all for your posts on here i will keep all of you posted im very tired and sick today and im stuck what to do my cancer doctor out of town and so is my family doctor and im stranded what to do im getting worse nothing working to help my instestine empty my stomach is very distended . I want them to get me in for a colonoscopy but i dont get much for answers from either of them and right now im about to my breaking point scared to death that it could be cancer , Once you have had cancer that always lingers in the back of your mind of possible mastesis. of recurrrance somewhere else.

Of course my trip to eve ER was a disaster.  The ER doctor basically patting me on the head telling me I'm constipated.

Anyway, I think that you need to go to the ER and not wait for you Onc and GP to get back,

l will be thinking of yoa shoe hope to heat good news soon.

P.S.  tell one of your Doctors that you want a colonoscopy. Don't take no for answer.

Missed my doctors appointment and a nurse said go to the ED and I didn't.
I believe you can get help quicker and get colonoscopy scheduled if needed.
Dont wait -better to resolve and get peace of mind.
Hoping for the best.

Dear Friend,

It'very unlikely that your beast cancer spread to your colon. If you  have any consistent change in your bower movent, disconfort, bloating, blood in the stool you need a colonoscopy and if you have anything abnormal, tiny biopsies.

Most of us fooled ourselves here with all kings of excuses not to get  or even push for this exam and ended up with a lot worse Stage than if we listened to our symptoms and even insisted on test, because many doctors downplay the symtoms too and tell you to eat more fiber or probably you have hemorrhoids etc.

DON'T WAIT and EASE YOUr MINd no matter what the outcome is.

Tomorrow i have a CT scan done cause i havent had a bowel movement in a long time and everything that they have tried has not worked I'm tired of being put off and im scared because it seems like each day gets worse im afraid of ending up with a twiste bowel or it ruptering and ending up  with a serious infection that could possibly kill me or putting holes into my intestine cause their not working hard at helping me or giving a dam when i have already have had Cancer i just hope that my breast cancer hasnt mastestised into my intestines because im not only blockd up but i also have an enlarged lymphnode and their acting like their not very concerned . As much as we all hate going to Emergency Room, you should go. You're right, you do not want to end up with a perforated colon.  Get to a good hospital where they will do a scan AND colonoscopy asap.  You may need an NG tube if nothing is passing.  This will give your intestines rest so things may be able to pass.  My husband went into the ED and was admitted with a complete blockage.  His intestines were so bloated he had to have the NG tube to get rid of things up that tube.  His surgery was scheduled within 36 hours, but some other complications postponed it a few more days, which was better in the long run.  He was able to pass everything that had been "stuck" and therefore much more clear for the surgery he had to remove part of his colon.

Contact your breast cancer doctors if you need to for some referrals.  I cannot believe no one has been helping you figure out what is going on.  Let us know how you make out.

I thought about that but they have tried every medication possibly to get me cleaned out but cant i havent had a bowel movement in 3 in half weeks they even tried that go lighty stuff you drink before a colonoscopy and that didnt even work this week they tried me on Mineral Oil Fleet enemias and im up to 4 of those a day and nothing has worked and as each comes i keep getting worse and no one will either listen to or even take me serious. So im hoping that something shows so that i can prove to them i was making it up and im not faking it because im tired of my doctors thinking im a hypoconderact cause im not and im being tired of being accused of this even by my own cancer doctor.
