skin cancer? after breast?
I know that some forms of skin cancer can be common, but has anyone developed skin cancer on the face and then had to start treatment?
We are waiting for the biopsy results.....but my cheek started hurting a week or so prior to the biopsy, and I worry about that. And the fact that I waited five months............and I should know better.....and that the doctor is 100% sure that it is some form of cancer.
Thanks,
Carol

I was the other way around.
I was the other way around. I was diagnosed with skin cancer (face) last year, BC this year. Still not sure if they were related in anyway. Praying for benign results! Should it not be...I'd be happy to share my skin cancer surgery experience. Good Luck!!

I still do not know the results, but that I am to go back July 3. Right below the spot he removed (I have a small whole in my face), there seems to be another one. Thanks for keeping in touch.

Hi everyonetc.e. I have read this post and thought a lot about this subject. I have a question that may seem a little odd. I finished rads three yrs ago and have had constant skin issues ever since. Cellulitis, swelling, etc. I worry about skin cancer on that breast and wonder if my chances are greater since having had radiation? Obviously it can occur anywhere on the body but due to the fact that sun exposure, tannng beds, etc are causes of skin cancer, I wonder...Prayers to everyone and thank you.

I think there is probably a chance that due to the radiation we have that it could possibly make our chances greater.
Good luck Lizzie!
