I've noticed this past week, several commercials speaking to the signs and symptoms of OVCA. One was from the mother of a prominent eye doctor here in Michigan. Saw two more, but I didn't catch who they were.
Just wondered if anyone else has noticed OVCA awareness ads in their area. I'm so happy to see this!

I am glad that this event focuses on both breast and gynecological cancers. There is way too much "pink" everywhere and not enough "teal". I mean no disrespect to BC patients and survivors. As a matter of fact "pink ribbons" merchandizing on anything and everything trivialize BC to the ridiculous extent.
Recently I purchased special edition Cashmere toilet paper with pink flowers sponsoring "Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation". It was on sale. This morning my husband who has the history of polips and who is 2 years overdue for colonoscopy ran out of the washroom mortified claiming that he saw blood in the toilet bowl. Guess what wet pink toilet paper looks like.
Some awareness campaigns have good intentions, but who in the world has come up with their names and slogans?
"Save the Ta-Tas" http://savethetatas.info/ ; "Help the Hoo-Hahs" http://www.helpthehoohahs.com/; "Save our Balls" http://www.saveourballs.org/ and "Kiss My PancreAss" https://www.facebook.com/KissMyPancreass campaigns are prime examples.
What's next - "Long Live the Cornholes", "Spare the Wangs" or "Pie-Hole & Schnozz Relief Foundation"?

Should have checked out the idiots.com first! Loved the graphics, but like you said, this breast thing has gone into overtime! Not making fun of "the girls", my mother is a 26 year surviver,buttttttt! I think its because most men are "tit" guys and can't stand the thought of loosing a good thing. Probably something their mothers did during breast feeding! Better shut up before I get into trouble!....but a pink "Swifter"? yeah, right! debra
