Wow
You do look good with dark hair, must tell you truthfully. Was the blonde hair a wig or the real thing? Gotta love the curls, or do you not?
My hair was always colored or high lighted and straight as a board. Coming in it was mousy dark brown with gray streaks and lots of ringlet curls. Felt more like Shirley Temple, so after a while I went back to some minor high lights.
Lookin' good girl.....

OMG!
That is sooo cute! and cool looking! I love the dark color! It makes you look totally diferent! Did you have to perm it? A;ways wanted curls...kinda hoped mine would come in different than when it went out, but nope...same straight brown with some gray. Oh well, I liked my wigs, too! Debrajo

Blonde hair in the profile picture is a human hair wig - hand-me-down from my aunt.
My hair was always brown and curly. I was hoping for straight but it came back exactly the same.
I don't do anything to it. Here's what it looked like before cancer.

It's amazing how different you look. I, too, was hoping my hair might come back curly but it was the same post chemo as pre. I did discover I like mine super short .

and that's no lie! You look very chic! Prior to chemo, my hair was coarse and straight, very typical for a Japanese person (I'm Japanese-American). After chemo, it came in much softer and finer, which I like.

6 months post chemo
Either colour and style suits you -your clever, enthusiastic personality is evident in your face. Seven weeks out from chemo I am eagerly awaiting the return of a little more than 2 cms. of fuzz!

Hi Alexandra
So glad I was able to get on tonight. I love your curls. I used to pay good money for curls. The only time I had them for free was after radiation, my hair came in with soft curls.
Anyway, you look wonderful!
Hugs

Love it. Curly like mine was. Blow dry it a little, throw some wax I. And have fun with it. I rocked the Halle berry look for a while.
It looks adorable. You don't still wear a wig do yyo

One gal in my cancer therapy group always had curly hair. Then lost due to chemo and when it came back, more curls and very tight, too. After 9 months the curls almost fell off and came to a real straight state. Now she has the straight hair and has perms done.
Keep wishing and those curls might go away....
I'm not a curls gal, so when I stopped the wigs about the same time you did, I just let it go natural. Approx 6 months later started on the hair straightener iron as I'm not the curls type. Today 4 years later my hair is straight as it was naturally.
All I can say, be happy for hair...yahoo~

Love it!!!
I also have loved seeing all your different looks! But nothing is quite like the real thing!
I had long hair before, and kept it a little blondish for several years before I was diagnosed. My natural hair color was just sort of non descript mousy brown. Since then I have kept it short and natural - which is pretty dark - well except for all the grey that keeps creeping in!
I am thinking of going platinum this summer! Not sure I have the guts, but everyone, including my husband and awesome hair dresser of over 20 years, seems to be on board with it so ......
It took cancer to teach me this, but as most of you reading this know, it's only hair!

looks great!
Any and all hair is appreciated after chemo hair loss..I wanted straight hair to grow back but mine is still curly and frizzy...I no longer use a curling iron to get rid of the frizz, just put some product on it and let the curls go as they will. I am growing it as long as it will go...I always had short hair before.
