Dealing with family and friends

in Breast Cancer #1

All I hear is that they want me to hurry thru this and get back to my normal self. Find myself just biting my tongue and painting on a smile. Really glad I found this place to vent.

    Feel free to vent, tell us how you are doing, and ask all your questions.  Maybe it would help if your doctor or a social worker can speak with your family.

    and fear. It's hard on the cancer patient to hear this because it's not like you have a cold that you can just "get over". Hang in there sister. It's tough on family and everyone deals with it differently.
