"Some of the most comforting words in the Universe are "ME TOO". That moment when you find out that your struggle is also someone else's struggle, that you're not alone, and that others have been down the same road."

The first thing I wanted to
The first thing I wanted to do when I was first diagnosed was find ladies that were like me!
And now since finding this site – a little late - over 5 years into my journey, I am comforted by hearing about others that have gone through the same challenges and %&*! that I have!
I also hope to be able to be "that person" for others looking for someone that is “like them.”
I was diagnosed at Stage 3C at the age of 42. I will be an official 6 year survivor on July 10 of this year!
No, you are not alone!

Congratulations, 123Miley! Six years is awesome.
"You are statistic of one" fits my friend to a "T" as a 10-year, stage 3C ovarian cancer survivor. While she has had her share of chemo over the last 10 years, she has not let that affect the quality of her life one iota. She has truly lived and enjoyed life over the last decade, with family and friends. She does all kinds of things, including working in the yard, remodeling her bathrooms, and going to baseball games. She especially enjoys traveling at home and abroad. She and her husband take at least four or five trips every year. Right now, she's chomping at the bit, itching to take off on her next trip.
