Dapsterd update !!
Hello family !
After 4 Stereotactic Radiations and finished the 3rd cerebellum surgery about six weeks ago and it has been rough.
i am clear with the primary in my RUL and lymphs. but the brain mets are a ****!
Speech and writing are terrible, i hope it gets back to normal...but....maybe not.
No pain though, and hanging in there at 50 yrs young!!
not even the brain board is saying anything about the disolvable Glidel Wafers docs put in brain after removing the tumor and scar tissue.
Love ya all.....Dave
3 yrs survivor, stage IV Adenocarcinoma, RUL and some middle lymphs

Most appears good news. Glad to hear. Praying for you on the Brain mets.. I draw inspiration from your posts.
Age 53 - 15 mth survivor.. stage 4 lung cancer - just found new cancer in last PT.
My sister has stage 4 which is what has brought me to this great site. Everyone has given me such hope and I have learned so much here. She has cancer in one lung, but also has malignant pleural effusion. She has a permanent drain in now so her husband can drain the fluid which is much less since she has been on chemo. She has mets to bones as well. I am trying to be as upbeat as she is. She is amazing. They told her she just has months. She is going for a second opinion at the Royal Marsden in London (she lives in UK). I hate when Dr's give months......they don't have the last say in this and it totally pisses me off.

Have missed you old friend!
Great to hear from you. I'm getting ready for another kyphoplasty. You rock man. You inspire me. Three surgeries and still going strong. Hope you'll be able to travel back to FL when things get chill again here in s MI. Though I think 50 is too young to be called a snow bird. Lol!

I am so sorry to hear this. I am new to this board and I am amazed at the positive thinking. Much better than what I am hearing on the outside. I have stage 4 lung cncer and they tell me that I am a complicated case. I have three different cancers in my lungs. I don;t want to be complicated. I just want to live for a few more. Good luck to you and yours. Peace.

Sorry you couldn't have the laser, but I'm glad they will be able to go in and get them out. Will be waiting for your update, and will be sending healing thoughts your way. Lori
