If any are believers, I could really use lots of prayers! I do believe in miracles!Sending thoughts and prayers to you. St. Peregrine is th patron saint of cancer patients and St. Rita is the patron saint of the impossible, both have seen me through this journey. I will include you in my prayers to them. I too believe that miracles happen. I hope alll works out for you. Reading all your posts on this site have been a huge help to me...you are a very special person.

I am sorry to hear this and hope that you will find out what's going on ASAP and that it's not mets. To answer your question, mets typically are found in liver or lungs with anal cancer. I believe there have been a few rare cases that have metatasized to bone. I hope you don't have to deal with any of those. You'll be in my prayers.

I'm sorry to see that you're having to look at scary scan results. I can't imagine what it's like for you as you follow up with your drs. I wish you all best as you tackle this new challenge. I'll be thinking strong healing thoughts for you.

Tracey, I too am a Catholic. I appreciate the prayers very much.
Thank you to everyone for your caring thoughts and prayers.
Martha, looking at liver and lung issues.
All the discussion about not having scans to minimize radiation exposure. It has been 2 years and I wish I had the scans sooner.
I am not a very lucky person!0 -

I am not a very lucky person! That is the one downside to not having periodic scans. If there are mets, no number of DRE's or anoscopes are going to catch that, unfortunately. I am still saying prayers for you that whatever is showing up turns out to be benign.

I am not a very lucky person! You have and will continue to be on my prayer list. I believe that God challenges us and tests us time and time again, hold fast and strong to your faith and you will be ok. I know its easier to say the words than to live by them sometimes so just know that we are here for you too.

I am so touched by the kind thoughts and prayers. I have meetings next week. Until then, I am trying to stay positive and lots of prayers. I am grateful to be able to come here and express my fears and anxieties. I am so worried about my daughter having to deal with any more pain.
Thanks so much for the prayers!0 -

Thanks so much for the prayers! You wil be on my and my church prayer list. Very powerful prayers are given there in this charming Episcopalian church along the Hudson River in Irvington, NY. They managed to rejuvinate my dog, Albert's kidneys which failed after he scarfed down a bunch of Advil. The vet said it was nothing short of a miracle. They did well for me too:-) I think if nothing else, it helps to know others are carrying heartfelt caring in prayers up to God for us, don't you?
Love,
Sandy

Thank you so much. I have great faith in the power of prayer. I appreciate every single prayer. What else is there, really? You are very kind and I appreciate it. The appontment has now been moved a few more days further. I am trying not to feel fear and anxiety. I don't want to give up now and I won't.0 -
I have testimony of the miracles that comes from prayer
Mary,
I know that you are a believer. I want you to know that what it says in the Bible in Rev 12:11 is how you will overcome this new challenge that is confronting you. Most of the battle is in our minds. My testimony is that I have personally seen people in my life with a terminal stage 4 diagnosis that are cancer free 8 years later later at the age of 80 and still on the ski patrol! My personal testimony is with the pain that came along with receiving treatment for AC. I was is the final weeks of treatment and having excruciating pain. As you may remember, I worked the whole time of treatment and recovery and actually changed jobs with a different employer the last week of treatment. Anyway, I was on my way to work after a radiation appointment and I suddenly realized that He had already dealt with my pain over two thousand years ago. I started talking to Him right then and reminded myself that the pain was not mine to suffer. I got to work and continued with my day. The pain disappeared and I never had to take one pill for pain during the treatment and recovery. I of course took care of myself as the oncologists had taught me to do with baths and ointment.
So this weekend remind your mind when it starts going nuts, that this has already already been handled by Him because He loves you with an infinite Love. I'm praying for you my friend.

Thank you. You have moved me to tears and I do remember how well you did. I will try to stay in faith! I am just a little weary, but I will remember your words. So true.0 -

So true.More prayers being sent your way. Scans show all kinds of funky things, cysts, hemo...something or other, etc., all of which my oncologists tells me are part of the aging process. I'm praying that your scan results are nothing more than that as well.
Blessings,
Liz
