CT today
CT today and visits with 2 of my oncologists and liver surgeon (not sure why he wants to see me-surgery was 15 months ago). Prayers needed for good news. Adoption of my 2 granchildren was approved last Friday with a 6 month review to make sure nothings changed in our lives. Only thing that could change would be my remission status. And 2 attornies told me no judge would allow the adoption because I am a stage 4 cancer survivor. Hopefully, I'll be posting NED!!!!!

I hope you'll be posting NED too! I have a CT today as well and will be thinking of you as I get scanned. Congratulations on the adoption approval. I know you've been working on this awhile, so I'm glad common sense finally prevailed in the courts. I wish you all good news so you can raise those precious children!

horsepad.....
That is just great news on the grandchildren and I will keep you in my prayers for continued good news with the scan.
When both my husband and I were recovering at about the same time my daughter (single mom) was on alert for deployment (National Guard) and we were listed on her family care plan as guardians for her son. There was all kinds of issues regarding that, but eventually got things to work out and then deployment was cancelled.
Looking forward to your post of NED!!

Tests showed I am still in remission!!!! Thank you Lord. My radiation oncologist and I were talking about me adopting girls. I was telling him adoption approved but the judge wants a hearing in 6 months, just to make sure nothing has changed and I hope my next test is NED so the adoption is finalized. He said let us know when the hearing is and we will schedule test after that. What a wonderful idea, now I can tell judge I am still in remission. So glad he thought of it. I am feeling very blessed in so many ways.

That is absolutely fantastic news! I am so very happy for you! Now you can adopt those girls and focus on them for awhile. Put this other stuff aside for at least the next 6 months! BTW, I love your doctor!

Excellent news. Great idea for your 6 month court hearing. My sister has her 2 grandchildren also.
