Picnic
On sunday I am going to a Cancer survivor picnic at the medical center where I get treatment and where my doctor is. Im excited, I need to physically make some pink sister friends, I am in such need of a friend so bad...does that sound silly.

That doesn't sound silly at all
Knowing a physical pink person makes a lot of difference. You share information, experiences and emotions. My cousin (unfortunately) was diagnosed with BC (2 months after me) and she is following a similar treatment plan to mine. We call each other a lot to discuss a lot of things, and that is help us emotionaly so much.

I'm just about to jump in the shower to get ready to go. I'll be working at the Peer Navigator table handing out information and talking about the program to peeps. Anyone in the Sacramento area going?
I hope you have a good time. I went a couple of years ago and it was a really nice event - at lease in this neck of the woods.
