Pet/ct results

I am really hopeful that this report Looks good.  I picked it up but don't meet with my oncolOgist until Thursday.  It basically reads no new disease, everything good except for uptake in a small bowel loop in lower pelvis where my previous tumor was located.  I Will see what my doc has to say about it.  It says it isnonspecific and they do not include an suv level for the uptake.  It appears to be thickened also which isn't really good.  Though, I am holding out hope that this is just inflammation and scartissue from the smAll bowel resection I had done in December with all the oth surgery.  We shall see.  But right now I am very happy.  It's been a long hard road and I need a break.  Summer vacation with the kids doing normal mom and kid things.    Even just a few days not to worry, even though I will remain forever worried.  But not today.  Today I feel good and will hope and pray my oncologist determines me to be NED.  Finally!  Hugs to you all.
