Zendaya WOW!  That sweet little girl has it!  I smile the whole time she dances.    3 10's on her threesome dance and she deserved it! 

Kellie and Derek were great as usual!  Their threesome had me hypnotized almost!  Loved the special effects, loved the dance, loved the costumes, the choreography was superior!  Lynn, what is wrong with you???  Bad day?  Thank goodness Bruno and Carrie Ann gave them 10's.

I love your funny smilies Ritzy!  All of us were wanting to smack Carrie Ann for not giving Kellie a 10, now I  want to smack Lynn.  A 7?  Really?  Sometimes the judges go back and watch the dance.  I am hoping Lynn does and sees that Derek put whatever that move was that Lynn wanted in there. Lynn said it wasn't there and Derek said it was.

The Good:

One word: D-E-R-E-K.  From the creative way he linked together their two dances as "light" and "dark," to his paso choreography to that impressive rotating house dance -- he was on fire this week!  

I have a friend in her 80s who has the biggest crush on Derek -- after this week, I think he better watch out, because she may be out on the streets of LA with her cane (very slowly) stalking him!

The Bad:

Quarterfinals?  Semifinals?  I'm completely confused.

Everyone was referring to this week as the "quarterfinals," which means that next week is the "semifinals."  But there are 5 couples dancing next week (Kellie, Zendaya, Aly, Ingo, and Jacoby), and 5 minus 1 week = 4 -- so we'll have 4 couples in the finals?  Don't we always have 3 couples in the finals?

Have any of you heard an explanation for this?

The Ugly:

Thanks be to the heavens for DVR.  I now fast-forward through all things Jacoby, because I just can't take any more of his mom.  So...if they happen to have explained the whole quarterfinal-semifinal-when-do-the-2-trains-leave-Chicago calculus problem during a Jacoby part of the show, that may be why I missed it.

We had some friends out and had a few glasses of wine with our meal, so, I was ready.  I didn't think the show was that good. 

BUT, was thrilled that Kellie and Derek won!  Kellie was always the winner!
