Hello you!
Hello you! I just got word via FaceBook that you are wondering about me! Thank you sooo much! I do not get online often~I have been on some sort of chemo for 19 months now and the level of exhaustion is high, and mostly I suffer from neuropathy, making it hard to type! I am holding my own~ even did the Relay For Life this weekend, including being honored to give the opening remarks about Living With Cancer ( something I seem to know a lot about!) and I was interviewed by our local newspaper. I still have amazing and heartfelt support from so many family and friends~it makes this long journey truly easier. I touted CSN at the Relay, and of course as I did what laps I could, I chanted "CSN, CSN" My sister and I made 27 Luminarias, including one dedicated to my Kindred Spirits and CSN....you are always with me!!! You have made me smile today, Pat~ thank you again for thinking of me. I hope you are well and happy....my CSN Kindred Spirits are truly my lifeblood and I love you dearly. (((((((hugs))))) ChenHeart

It made my heartClaudia,
It made my heart feel glad to see your post. I/We have missed you so much but we had heard taht typing can be a challenge and tiring so you. I know that you are battling hard but I am not surpirsed that you did a relay or that you were a speaker. You have such a beautiful way about you and your quiet courage and strength are a true inspiration. My thoughts often travel to you and my prayers always include you my dear friend and all of the warriors here that battle this disease. Some do it with courage, some with rage, some with fear, each fighting with their own arsenal. Our arsenals hold treatments, surgery, tests, follow ups, and most of all friends, family and the support of all who care for us. Your arsenal must be so very full. Fight on dear chenheart. You are always in our thoughts.

Glad I am not the only one wondering this! Claudia - you touched my heart from the very beginning of my journey..... I really do not post much here - but I always looked forward to your posts - you always had so much information to share!! When your journey changed - we lost a little somthing from the boards(yes that would be you!)
You are always in my thoughts and prayers --- so happy that you were able to enjoy a Relay!

Dear Claudia,
I am glad that you are doing well enough now to do laps at a Relay. I was even happier to read that you gave the opening remarks about "Living with Cancer" at the Relay For Life. My first post here was about asking CSN for their opinions about acknowledging those who are stage IV and living with cancer. I had asked the ACS in my state to allow a third walk for those who are living with the disease, not the survivor walk or the memorial walk but a special walk for just us. They said "NO".
Though you didn't have a special walk, the ACS did acknowledge stage IV does exist and that is a start. In Maryland, there was a billboard sign welcoming those who are "Living with Cancer". It is the home of METAvivor so I guess it was good politics to include them.
I did receiving a lot of opinions but I did ask for them. I think in time, things do change as there are more and more of us living with the disease.
Stay well and I also miss your postings.

The love, support and hope that you have provided to many haunts our boards. It is impossible to think that it has been almost 4 years since our friendship started. I think of you everyday, and send positive thoughts, love and prayers your direction.
You are a WARRIOR, with much to tell our World about cancer Congratulations on the honor of addressing the Relay for Life, as well as Striving and Surviving.
Well wishes for continued health, beating the beast and survival.
Strength, Courage and HOPE for a Cure.
Vicki Sam
