in Anal Cancer #1
Well, the time has come that I have agreed to have more scans. I am not happy about it, but symptoms make it necessary. So, in a week I will hqve a better idea where I stand with the 2 cancers. I am not quite 2 years since my last surgery. I am a person of great faith, but I have to say that I am drreading dealing with it again. Really dreading it! It has been a very long 2 years. Time for me to face reality and put on my brave face again!

    Marynb one day at a time

    the future does not need to repeat itself, and we certainly do  not know what it will be, so reality check -- one day at a time, especially dealing with fear...I feel for you and on occasion panic myself and then focus on what is most important for me to still accomplish which I always wanted to do but always put off for one trite reason or another....hoping calmness for you.

    I have 2 tests down and another day next week. Geez, our poor bodies sure take a beating!

    can I ask what they are putting you through? which tests? what are they looking for?

    The concern is not about the anal cancer. I also have neuroendocrine cancer. The tests have to do with the NE cancer.

    Hi Marynb,

    Just wishing you well with your planned tests.

    Are you familiar with meditation? This could be one of those weeks when it could really help.

    The weather has perked up here in Wales, so if it is the same for you, get out in the fresh air, listen to the birds.
