Going to the surgeon
I am going to the surgeon today to find out what they are going to do and my aftercare. I was told that I had cancer 1 1/2 weeks ago and had to have radical nephrectomy right away. I'm still a little stunned to say the least, but my family is more devastated than I am. What should I expected to hear today?

How did it go?
Hi Bob,
I just saw your post and hope the urologist was able to explain things. If you post some of the details like size and location someone in the group has probably had a similar experience and can comment on what you have to look forward to. The shock that you described and the fear of being told you have cancer is something all of us have in common. You couldn't have found a more compassionate bunch of friends. Welcome.
John
