However, I noticed it more interesting nowadays. My native language is spanish, so my english is not great, but I will try to do the best.
I wish to share experiences, thoughts, ideas, ouf of the box and why not build up models or plans to attacks this damn disease?.
Well, I want to be brief, my father had a two stage liver resection one months ago, for this reason, I want to discuss ideas with everybody and known if somebody had a liver resection in two stages here.
I hope not to bother nobody but I am Italian descendency and hot blood.
Huges and kisses
Fede

Was it an ALPPS resection? Were both surgery's within a well or so of each other? I guess what I am wondering is how much time passed between the two surgeries. Did they remove the right side completely?
ChelseaThanks Pete, Annabelle, and Annalexandria
Yes, Chelsea71, he had an ALPPS resection, hepatectomy in two stages within the 10 days he had two liver resections and they removed the right side completely, now I am desperate, after 30 days after surgery he started with a left body problem in mouth, leg and arm (soft) but it amazing me, so we had a Scan and they detected a brain lesion, so I am desperate, they are trying the edema, and we have a plan for radiation, but we are all depressed, we can not beleive it.
Inclusive he need chemo post surgeries, don t forget he had two stages hepatectomy, some unfortunately similar case ? I would need advices about how to go on the war the treacherous war.
How to try brain met, any can help me with encourage? tell me any positive story please.

I am from Ontario, Canada. In this area brain tumors (including metastasis) are treated quite successfully with the cyberknife.
Also, Barb, a CSN member had surgery in December to treat a colorectal brain met. She appears to have done extremely well. She recently had a brain MRI and it showed NED. I believe she goes by Barbebarb.
All the best,
