John's One Year Anniversary on Nivolumab - Votrient Trial

Congratulations to my husband, John (aka one putt) on his  one year anniversary (May 10) in the Nivolumab-Votrient trial at Hopkins. It's hard to believe it's been an entire year! With a 58% reduction in tumor burden in this first year, know I'm hoping and praying for many more!!!! Congratulations! XOXOXOXO

    PS.. Just to add. I read another post from “another cancer site” ( I would post it but Texas_Wedge would yell at me J) about someone in this trial who is now NED.  Best wishes - BDSwould yell

    Now listen here BDS - just wipe that big smile off your face and behave yourself! Smile

    John's been a model patient from the outset and, just like Fox, deserves the great success he's having. With a woman like Alice to live for, and with her care too, he can't fail to go from strength to strength as future years roll by. 

    The most heartfelt congratulations to both of you from the other side of The Pond.

    Thanks for all of your kind wishes as Alice and I continue on in our fight against this disease. We went out to celebrate today at one of our favorite waterfront restaurants that's reminiscent of places we've been to in the Carribean and Mexico, with lots of cold beer and pretty women,including Alice. Did I mention Alice picked up the check?Wink
