Hello Everybody

I am new to the site, unfortunately not to Cancer, I was diagnosised in March 2010. Stage IV Breast Cancer, Mets to Bone; ER+, PR+, HER2+.  I have been in remission for 2 1/2 years now. However side-effects are kicking my butt.

I've been doing this largely alone. I am a single mother of 3; 16. 20 and 21. My family lives mostly in New England. My insurance wasn't accepted by any Cancer Therapist's in town...and with a Social Anxiety disorder made worse by my missing breasts. Support Groups were hard for me to join.

After 3 years, I've finally got it through my thick skull that I can't do this alone, and that I had better do everything in my power to become a part of something, before I simply fade away.  Cancer has consumed me, depression imprisoned me.  Joining this community is me finally dusting myself off and rejoining this crazy dance we call life.

So I wanted to say "Hi" before I simply jumped into someone's post and started giving advice or asking questions.

Blessings!

Kelli

Welcome! And thanks for introducing yourself!

    Welcome, Kelli!

Thanks for introducing yourself and telling us about yourself.  We do sometimes have folks who just jump in and start responding to posts -- which is great, but it's nice to get to know them, too!

You won't find a more supportive group of women and men anywhere -- you've definitely come to the right place!

    Hi Kelli

BIG warm welcome hugs to you! I'm glad you decided to join us. It's gotta be hard just raising famiy, working and then on top of that, getting sick! I had a hard time receiving help from others and I had to learn to just let go and get the help I needed. Are you on Tamoxifen?

Keeping you in prayer! Hang in there.
