Tomorrow morning
Tomorrow morning is the big day with the ENT. I hope nothing is wrong with me. I was managing well until now...I fear my life will change forever and I am so scared.
If he does find something, I hope it's curable and that I won't have to wait another 3 weeks for results. It's hard, I sorta put my life on hold with the "what ifs".

Scanxiety
Without a scan, LOL...
I'm sure if there is something going on, your ENT will give you an idea..., mine was pretty much 100% right on from the first time I saw him...
Prayers nothing serious is going on, but if it is, you'll have the strength to do whatever it takes to get you through.

Life on Hold
All of us on here to some degree have had to go through the life on hold deal and it is very rough to handle so your feeling is shared and understood well by us. The what ifs are very hard to deal with. I keep thinking what if they find this or what if my taste never comes back, etc. The only way I have found to deal with it is to get distracted when I want the feelign to go away and when I want to deal with it is to fell someone how I am feeling. These things work for me. Wishing you the very best what if you can have.

So with you three...whispered a prayer before I hit submit ...and I would like to add that we all have been there (not that it makes you feel any better) ....I so remember the night before my after treatment PET to see how well I responded ...and thinking to myself tomorrow will be a good day or a bad day and though I had prayed for the best there really was no way humanly to know ....only faith and hope told me I will be able to deal with whatever comes my way...
So tonight I prayed your results are PERFECT and that you will be driving home thinking to yourself the grass is soooooo green and the sky is soooo blue. Hang in there three, we got your back!

next step
Hi to all of you and thank you so much for the kind words and prayers.
I had the nasal scope and the ENT did not see anything concerning. He sais that like the CT scan showed, my right lingual tonsil is swollen. He said we could wait 4 to 6 weeks to do another one or I could have the laryngoscopy and he would take samples just to make sure. I agreed with the laryngoscopy. It will be done in June or July. I asked him if he was worried and he said no, he said that maybe I always had a swollen lingual tonsil, that it happens, but since I have an earache sometimes, that it would reassure him and me. He also said that sometimes, when we have an infection, the gland can stay swollen afterwards. He said my vocal coards are ok...I did the EEEEE and the AAAA for him while he was checking this out.
I will not come on here until then, just because I need to get this out of my head and try not to focus on that. I'll have to trust his judgement and hope for the best.
I will come back and let you know the results of the laryngoscopy and biopsie when I have them.
Bless all of you.
