Our Final Time Together

We laid my husband to rest today with a simple, but elegant graveside service. Our friends are few in number but are true friends.

My daughter was able to lay a single rose on her grandmother's grave as my parents' plots and ours are side by side. She and my mother were very close.

In time we will heal from the loss of the man who touched so many hearts and lives. As the numbness wears off, my memories will remain of the man who taught me so much about this life.

I just wanted each of you to know how much we appreciate the love and kindess you have shown our family. I will still be nearby to support and encourage you all.

    sounds so beautiful, and I'm sure it was done with dignity and grace. You have made a huge difference in my life, I appreciate my husband so much more , he was my caregiver, I hope youll find peace and keep being the amazing person you are

    Once again, I am sorry for all these twists and turns which ended with your husband’s untimely passing.

    You are one of the beautiful souls which crossed my path on this adventure.  I am grateful I spent this time sharing our most heartfelt moments together.

    I am very, very sorry for your loss!

    With Mother's Day coming Sunday, I've been sitting here crying most of the day.  My Mom passed away in 2009 and you are right, you will always have fond memories that no one can take away from you.  God bless you.

    I am so very sorry that you have lost your loving husband. My heart breaks for you, you are one of the strongest people I have had the pleasure to meet and I hope that our friendship lives on.  I pray that your memories and family are a comfort to you during this difficult time.

    I too am sadden by the new as there are no words to say sometime. I tell my wife let's just enjoy each day that we have and not let anything get in our way. God bless and keep you in his care.
