Male Breast Cancer Spread to lymph nodes

My Father who is 77 years old finished chemo about a month ago and had surgery this past Monday.  The surgeon removed what was left of the tumor and many lymph nodes and of the lymph nodes removed two had cancer.  We do not know many other details and my Father is very worried.  I am hoping someone can tell me if more chemo is necessary or if radiation may be enough.  My Father does not want to have to go through chemo again.  I guess since he is an older male the Dr. decided to start with chemo then surgery and lastly radiation but we did not ask him if this would change if they found cancer in the lymph nodes.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
