Round One Done-Yay

I am home safe and sound after my first pertuzumab-trastuzumab-docetaxel.  Had steroids and aloxi ahead of time.  I don't remember any benadryl, but that is probably a good thing as benadryl hypes me up (I know it's weird).  Did very well-just a little nausea and fatigue, but I felt that going in. 

Thanks for all of the support and prayers!  I definitely felt them today!  Love you all!

    Attagirl!

    Been thinking about you today as you started your protocol.  I have good feelings about this for you, but I hate, hate, hate that so many of the people I love have to go through chemo. 

    Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

    I just read that trastuzumab and pertuzumab are the two drugs I will receive if the PRO Onc Assay study comes back positive for HER2.  I feel better just knowing you are taking those drugs.  I didn't see any mention of docetaxel but I might have missed it (it's a lot to read).  You rest up and let the chemo "take care" of those cancer cells.

    Glad that is behind you!
    Now imagine the chemo getting he little bast***s! lol Mu acupuncturist callled it healthy healing! I call it getting even with those nasty cells. Hope you feerl relatively well through this.

    a few days after your first infusion - hoping your strength is up, and your are NOT having any Side Efforts-.  Insomina may soon become you new best friend == so sorry about that. 

     

    How are the Wedding plans coming?  Katherine remaining calm with all that going on right now with her beloved Mom,?
