4 Month PET Scan after glossectomy
Saw both surgeons today. They scoped Chuck and thought everything looked good. Ordered a PET Scan on May 8th. Kinda worried (oaky not kinda of, extremely). We have been one of those people where this only happens to 1% of the people going thru this. Chuck has been that 1%. I just want this PET scan to show nothing. We have not had that experience yet since he was diagnosed almost a year and a half ago. We have always been on the bad ends of the news. So, I am asking for any and all prayer that this PET Scan comes back NED. This has been absolutely the roughest road I have ever traveled!

Road Does Get Smoother
I would have never believed that the road would get smoother, but it did. Still very terrified about scans and visits, but go between hope and fear, better than the total fear I had before.
Praying for you and wishing the very best, let us know.
