Hippocrates Health Institute?

Has anyone ever heard of or had experience with the Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida? Considering it as an after treatment with the conventional stuff is over. Looks life a fancy cancer spa but have heard a wonderful story about it.

    Just my opinion, but going there would depend on what you're seeking. 

    They focus on a raw food diet.  Although this diet was thought to be a good anti-cancer diet, in the past, newer research is indicating that it is not a sustainably good diet for keeping cancer away.  It MAY, however, be a good temporary diet, around 2 or 3 weeks, just for cleansing purposes. 

    I know of a few women who went to this clinic.  They enjoyed their experience, and felt good on the diet, but it was very strict and hard to maintain, and it didn't keep them from getting cancer again.  I also know a woman who followed a very similar diet to this for 20 years.  She then got ovarian cancer and has been trying to get into remission for 3 years.  Staying on this diet for such a lengthy time, compromises many things in your body and it takes a long time to turn things around.  The second woman I mention is very close to being in remission now, and is off of chemo, but she didn't make any progress until she changed her diet to a Paleo diet.

    I have no personal knowledge of HHI in Palm Beach, FL

    They have a beautiful web-site http://www.hippocratesinst.org, also Facebook, youtube and linked-in presence. 

    I found a few skeptical reviews and a few glowing ones. It looks like what causes most complaints is upselling of extras, brainwashing techniques and strong food smells on the premises.

    If pretentious lingo like "Life transformation", "Living Food" and "Liquid Nourishment" doesn't make you cringe; if you can stomach wheatgrass juice as a drink and in enemas, Hippocrates Institute sounds like an expensive upscale rehab, run by Nurse's Ratched descendants.

    Thanks for the links and input.  Maybe I should keep looking.  Already a vegetarian but even this diet looks challenging.  Any other similar places that you know of that might be better?

    They do have medical staff on site (not quasi-doctors like HHI). There is no charge, only transportation to Montana. They don't have private or even semi-private accomodations, which is a deal-breaker for me.
