Sorry for you Pain...
Welcome To the best Pink Sisters Group I have found they are so wonderful and helpful here.. I am new here also...Have you spoke to your oncolagist about this... I haven't had raditation but I think the place to start is your Doctors. I know there must be things they can do to ease your discomfort.... Please don't hesitate to ask any question here... I'll pray that god sends you a healing angel... God Bless.... Kathy

Radiation Oncologist
Have you seen your radiation oncologist since December 5th? I certainly would make an appointment to see him/her if you have not.
Once they gave the correct product to put on the area that was burned, in no time it was healed and no problems later.
Best,
Doris

Thank you Doris for the advise. I have been to the radioligist oncolagist and he does agree that the breast is swollen and red he wants to give it a litlle while longer to see if it corrects itself I have the cream and I have been applying it regularly but it does nothing the breast is hot and painfull. Not sure what else to do. Ready to give up.

Hi
I had a lot of swelling, numness and pain after my partial. Did yours begin after your partial or after radiation? Either way, doesn't hurt to ask your doc (radiation onc if after radiation, breast surgeon if after surgery). Mine was "normal" but took about 9 months for the swwelling to really go away. Hang in there!

I am glad you 've got an appt. to see your onco, but, you really need to see your rads oncologist about this too. I was still swollen for awhile, I can't remember how long exactly and dark pink. But, after a couple of weeks, the redness was gone. And, the rest of my breast was healing while I had the boosters at the tumor site.
Be sure and update us and good luck,
Hugs, Debby
